The course consists of five modules:
- Theories of Counselling
- Islamic Model of the Self
- Cultural Diversity
- Professional Issues
- Islam and Psychology
The aim of the course is to help students to achieve, at Certificate level, a preliminary grasp of the theoretical, practical and personal ingredients in effective use of Islamic counselling skills.
Any of the modules for this course can be studied individually as part of Continuing Professional Development.
For the Certificate in Islamic Counselling all modules must be studied consecutively.
