Programmes are taught by scholars in particular fields and can last from a year to two years depending on the type of degree you’re looking for.

•   Taught Programmes

• Students will be expected to attend lectures and seminars, as well as provide coursework pieces, written assignments and sit examinations. There are three types of taught programmes that we offer, all validated by Loughborough University:
• Post-Graduate Certificate (PG Cert)
• Post-Graduate Diploma (PG Dip)
• Master of Arts (MA)
• MA degree in Islamic Studies
• MA degree in Muslim Community Studies
• MA degree in Islamic Banking, Finance and Management

•   Research Programmes(MPhil, Phd)

• These are offered on a research basis, in which case a thesis must be submitted for examination. Guidelines for preparing the research proposal can be obtained from the Registrar. There are three types of research programmes that we offer:
• Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
